Developed

• Economy: variety of industries, majority of jobs are in tertiary industries (service)
• Society: all have good access to social programs such as education and healthcare

Emerging

• Economy: mostly secondary industries (factories), and are working towards tertiary
• Society: most have good access, but there is still a large poor population with poor access

Developing

• Economy: mostly primary industries, which makes them very vulnerable
• Society: majority have limited access to poor social program (education and healthcare)

Economic Industries

Primary: logging, mining, fishing, farming

Secondary: manufacturing, construction, processing

Tertiary: sales, teaching, nursing

Quaternary: developer, engineering, researching
